Here we are sharing 4 remedies to beat the common cold:
Remedy #1 – Irrigate Your Nose and Sinuses
You know there is something wrong when you feel that congestion in the nasal. You know when we can’t breathe and your nose gets stuffy and stuck in there and filled with mucus. What we need to do is we need to boil some hot water on the stove and then you can put in a few little drops of essential oils or a few drops of your favorite scented oils and just sniff that. Or you can put some hot water on a washcloth and just put it over your face and try to really let that warmth and that heat seep into your skin.
Now if we’re gonna do something with the nose we can actually squirt up some saline solution into one nostril and have it come out through the other nostril. You can use a neti pot or a squirt bottle which you can get this at any drug store. Just put in a little packet at the saline powder and then you add in some water a little warm water and you’re good to go.
Remedy #2 – Make it Steamy and Sweaty
Now if you’re having the flu, it’s not good to exercise but if you do have that common cold, sweating and getting your heart rate up is actually going to help you. So we’re trying to get things moving, you can sit in a steam room. You can also go into a sauna or workout. Try to get your heart rate up in sweat to detox all right.
Remedy #3 – Ginger, Tumeric and Kind Pepper Wellness Shot
Just smell this shot which is pretty intense and smells like a lemon drop. It’s great for you and you can get this at any health food store. That’s going to help reduce inflammation.
Remedy #4 – Use Essential Oils
Dab a couple of drops of eucalyptus or peppermint oil on your wrist put it underneath your nose. Sniff it all day. If you have a sore throat, take warm soothing hot chicken noodle soup, cold season teas or echinacea teas, added with honey for an extra coating to relief that cold and cough.
